I’ve been on jury duty all week and continue for a 4th day on Thursday. So I’m now behind on my writing. The upside is that I certainly will have new material by the time this trial finishes.
Even though this is now the 7th time I have served as a juror, I’m still impressed with the system we operate under. I can’t really say more although I would like to say a lot, not so much about this specific trail but about our system and the people who run it and serve on it.
I have no idea why I have been selected so many times. Many people never sit in the jurors box and I get asked a lot about what it is like. So I’ve been taking mental notes and thought that it might make interesting reading. That is after I recover from this, the most trying case i have served on.
